Members can book from a wide choice of party venues. The decorum of the institute shall be maintained in such parities. Members organising the party are responsible for the conduct of their guests who shall abide by the rules and bylaws of the institute. Care shall be taken so that no inconvenience or hindrance is caused to normal functioning of the institute or its members.
OP Lounge Bar is a beautiful bar at the ground floor. The bar has adequate seating capacity.

Billiards Table is placed in the Heritage Gazebo. Members are requested to take adequate precautions to prevent any damages to billiards table. Children below 16 years of age are not permitted to use the billiards table. No food or drink glasses be placed on the billiards tables. Rs.50/- is being charged per member for half an hour.
An open area is available for conduct of marriages and allied functions. Member who is using the marriage lawn area is required to obtain permit for Liquor/DJ. The Liquor License (L-42) can be obtained from Excise and Taxation Department. CSD liquor cannot be served in the marriage area. Permit of Sound for using Loud Speakers can be obtained from the Chandigarh Administration. The same will be submitted to DSOI office 24 hrs in advance. In absence permit/permits, no consumption of Liquor or use of DJ will be permitted. A penalty of Rs.10,000/- per permit would be imposed and ex-post factor sanction will be obtained if situation so demands.
An additional area is also available with marriage lawn under the mango grove against extra tariff of Rs.5,000/-.
Sekhon Banquet Hall can also be booked along with marriage lawn at the additional cost of Rs.5,000/-. However, dress code of DSOI Chandigarh will apply for guests using the Sekhon Banquet Hall.
Mango Grove area can be booked along with marriage lawn with an additional cost of Rs.5,000/- and with Heritage Gazebo lawn at the additional cost of Rs.1,000/-. It can also be independently booked for outdoor parties of maximum 30 personnel at the cost of Rs.1,000/-.
An AC Party Room with an open terrace. Can accommodate 100 x Personnel with an open terrace attached. Provision of soft music on demand.
A place tucked in with privacy which has a small AC Party Room with Bar. The lawn (incl Party Room) with a bar outside can accommodate a maximum of 125 x Personnel. Soft music can be played (No DJ is permitted).

Jacob’s Library is located on the first floor of main building of DSOI. The library is subscribing to six different newspapers and nine periodicals of different subjects. The library has been recently stocked with variety of books on different topics. Books may be got issued through the Librarian for return within stipulated period.
